The Magic
Socratica is one of the few communities where people are constantly learning from each other, supporting each other, making new friends, and building things they care about. It feels truly magical to be a part of this vibrant group.

At Socratica we are constantly trying to elevate peoples experiences by driving creativity sparkle.
We actively talk about how to improve the co-working experience. For example balancing the gender ratio, adding in new formats, etc to see what works, incorporating participant feedback.
Seeing people reach for what they believe in, allowing themselves to be fully immersed in creativity have allowed me to believe in myself. and inspired me to pursue my hidden interests.
My Role as a Host
1. Organizing a 500+ attendee kick off event
2. Hosting weekly co-working sessions for Waterloo students
3. Emceeing the symposium showcase of50+ Socratica projects with 1000+ attendees
4. Hosting unique events such as the Wabi Sabi Thon (a hackathon for creatives in Waterloo)
