My friend Aileen and I realized the Waterloo student community lacked a connection to the creative arts. Being a tech and STEM focused university, we didn’t have many events for those interested in art.

Together we recrutied an amazing team and we created wabi-sabi-thon. A silly half-ish day hackathon to get peoples creative juices flowing by giving them unique challenges. We had over 100+ people attend and came out with 25+ incredible creative projects.
