After improving the design system at WSIB, the design team (including myself) redesigned the “submit a claim” user flow on the WSIB website to improve the usability and overall navigation.
Redesign the WSIB website by upgrading the layouts, hierarchy and visual design to help new users find the right information faster.
A customer who needs to use the WSIB website feels extremely lost in the sea of text. The UI feels very cluttered and it takes users a while to figure out which forms they need to complete. The navigation flow doesn’t feel linear and users often need to go back and forth before being able to submit their documents effectively.
Improve the arrangement of text and images to create better user experience and memorability
Create a positive first impression to in-still confidence in the product’s usability
Help provide a personalized experience and allow users to reach their “aha-moment”
Instructions to submit a claim for WSIB are very unclear on their current website. The redesign simplifies the explanation and allows users to easily digest the content.
